My honest opinion is that the left is applauding these changes because they want a conservative company, minding their own business, serving delicious food and endorsing wholesome values which is an abomination to them…to go out of business . They are starting with the logo, they have changed the interiors of some of the businesses, losing the southern charm vibe and have even “updated” the peg game with progressive propaganda. My advice to shareholders and company employees ..get rid of Ms Progressive Eyeware lady..she’s ruining the company and going on the news, gaslighting all of you saying everyone loves the changes. She is LYING. The company’s stock dropped like a rock..losing millions in market cap. Go back to your previous business model and tell those trying to “modernize “ your company to go kick rocks.

Karen, that's a beautiful reply. Those screwball nut cases just can't leave decent peaceful folks alone.

Thank you. I’ve never got to go to one of these restaurants..there are none where I live in NJ. ( figures..blue state🤦‍♀️) but I am sick and tired of these elite snobs ruining EVERYTHING.

I agree with you, all they needed do was improve quality of their food. My friend ate there last year found brillo pad pieces in her gravy ,that was her last visit. I'm sick of this Woke garbage, women copying Maddcow and Joyless, I see these stupid glasses on many of the Trump derangement crowd. I'm tired of them pushing this sodomite abomination on everyone too . They won't be happy until America is run by communist queers.

Good post and good points. Consumers want healthier great tasting food in an affordable, clean place to dine. Steak & Shake works!

Ah, the battle of the crack pots against the majority. They can't leave decent peaceful folks alone. This is another absolutely very good piece about the majority's dilemma by Roger. Looks like our family will have our "rush-meals" at the Village Inn and Steak and Shake. In all probability, the location of Cracker Barrels will save their arse. Why? Cuz those tired travelers won't desire looking around in towns to eat. Especially when they're on the clock. For their anti-majority endeavor, let's hope they go under.

This ugly woman has the same head-tilt, same hair-over-the-right-shoulder, same vacant, fake smile, and same thick plastic-rim early-60s lefty "problem glasses" in every photo I've seen of her. (And it's not the same photo...) She's nothing but a left-wing Democrat robot, straight off the production line.

The Western Empathy corporate tilt is incapable of even feeling or understanding NOSTALGIA. Hey, CB, look it up. THAT is what brings customers INTO Cracker Barrel and your LOYAL CUSTOMER BASE out. Maybe Family Nostalgia, Historical Nostalgia & Interest, but it is the food and interest CB provided on a long trip if you did not live close. RIP WOKE.

I wonder if that drama queen that is the Chief Executive Officer of Cracker Barrel ever ate in one of the company's restaurants before she was given that job on a golden platter?

My guess is, NO.

So..they have bought the lie, rather than the truth, I believe that they have allowed this educated company to be a pawn. Well, I can say is this, as for me and my house, we will not return to this store until they come to revelation and acknowledge the great people who built your business. Very dark day in history, we shall see.

social media was posting empty Cracker Barrels especially during the early bird dinner time...when my late husband and I did a road trip around the US many yrs ago, we often ate there for lunch; the service was great, ma'am and sir, real Southern hospitality, and the food, while not the greatest, was ok..sweet tea...they also had a great CD selection...it was a long time ago but I never forgot...

Steak and Shake sounds great.

I live in France and the quality of the food here--breakfast, lunch and supper--is so much better than the USA. There are some ethnic restaurants (with terraces) in tourist towns, and that is the only reason such establishments stay in business, because the quality of the food and the preparation is inferior.

Intriguing to me was the recent opening of a Burger King, which does fine for serving the lunch crowd. The food must be of higher quality and preparation than one would expect in a USA Burger King, kind of like when it was my grandfather's favorite fast food place to take us grandkids to eat. He liked charbroiled burgers.

I spent some time in France and you are correct, the quality of the food (even fast food from what I hear) is so far above the USA. Every meal I ate was A+ delicious and I had no reactions at all. The fast food joints in Europe and in Canada as well use much better quality products, the States get total crap full of additives etc which are banned by the EU and Canada. They don't use the "company" food, it is sourced like any other restaurant. I knew someone whose mom was Canadian, he lived in Oregon, and once or twice a year he drove up to BC to buy his junk food and Coke because it was better. Kids in school in France are given fresh healthy lunches with real plates and cutlery.

Rather odd that the BOD would put this woman in charge. Cracker Barrel has been a eating/shopping adventure for a typical older crowd who enjoy bringing families to hearty meal. They are not a tofu bunch. Have sales declined too much prior to the new decisions? The logo change is no big deal but messing with the decor could turn off their base. The menu has been quite traditional and customers expect that. The youth of today may not be as attracted until they begin to have families where the current decor satisfies. But we shall see.

Did they not learn the Bud light lesson? If their goal really is to sink Cracker Barrel they may succeed.

They lost their soul when they left God's wholesomeness behind to embrace satanic worship of "halloween", displaying all kinds of rot in their once beautiful little "country stores".

Screeching witches and banshees are NOT welcoming!!!

I hate to see them go, but "go woke and go broke" is what THEY have chosen!!!
