EXPOSED: CIA Paid Off Analysts to Claim Covid Didn’t Come From Wuhan Lab

A Whistleblower informed Congress that the CIA bribed its own agents to assert that Covid did not come out of a laboratory based in Wuhan, China.

According to a new letter that Reps. Mike Turner (R-OH) and Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) crafted, a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) whistleblower informed Congress that the intelligence agency bribed its own agents to assert that Covid did not come out of a laboratory based in Wuhan, China.

Wuhan is China’s 9th most populous city at nearly 9 million people. Turner is the chair of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, while Wenstrup chairs the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The two Ohio congressmen’s letter was addressed to CIA Director William J. Burns. "A multi-decade, senior-level, current Agency officer has come forward to provide information to the Committees regarding the Agency’s analysis into the origins of COVID-19," the letter noted. "According to the whistleblower, the Agency assigned seven officers to a COVID Discovery Team (Team). The Team consisted of multi-disciplinary and experienced officers with significant scientific expertise."

The letter continued noting that according to the whistleblower, "six of the seven members of the Team believed the intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. The seventh member of the Team, who also happened to be the most senior, was the lone officer to believe COVID-19 originated through zoonosis."

"The whistleblower further contends that to come to the eventual public determination of uncertainty, the other six members were given a significant monetary incentive to change their position,” the letter added.

The Republican congressmen from Ohio urged the CIA to turn over all records connected to the COVID Discovery Team and any correspondence with the Federal Bureau of  Investigation (FBI), State Department, Health and Human Services (HHS), and Energy Department concerning the matter.

The two elected officials gave the CIA a deadline of September 26, 2023 to issue a response to their request. If the intelligence agency does not respond, it will be issued a subpoena.

Furthermore, Turner and Wenstrup also sent a letter to Andrew Makridis, who previously served asChief Operating Officer for the CIA and ended up retiring  close to the final months 2022. In this letter, Makridis was called on to "participate in a voluntary transcribed interview" with the aim of helping the committees conduct their respective investigations.

Earlier in February 2023, the Department of Energy, determined with "low confidence" that the Wuhan virus came out of a lab in the Chinese metropolis. The Department of Energy is generally tasked with overseeing biological research labs. In a similar vein, the FBI expressed a similar viewpoint with lukewarm confidence

At the end of the day, the CIA opted to not roll out a formal report about Covid’s origins.

Given the CIA’s track record, it’s unsurprising that it would stoop to such lows. This is, after all, an agency that has been proven to be directly involved in coverups connected to the JFK assassination, as witnessed by then-CIA Director’s John McCone’s decision to withhold information from the Warren Commission.

The irony here is that McCone came into this role as a Washington outsider. In a similar vein, current CIA Director Williams Burns came to his position as a relative outsider who was willing to stir the pot.

He gained notoriety as the US Ambassador to Russia (2005-2008), where he told then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that expanding the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) would create a security crisis between Russia and NATO. At the time, he said the following:

"Ukrainian entry into NATO is the brightest of all redlines for the Russian elite (not just Putin). In more than two and a half years of conversations with key Russian players, from knuckle-draggers in the dark recesses of the Kremlin to Putin's sharpest liberal critics, I have yet to find anyone who views Ukraine in NATO as anything other than a direct challenge to Russian interests."

However, in his current capacity, Burns appears to be towing the establishment line on issues ranging from the Wuhan virus to the prosecution of the proxy conflict in Ukraine against Russia. No matter who is in charge of government agencies, the Deep State always seems to win.
