Article is right on point. DeSantis does all the cultural initiatives with great publicity but what he is doing in the background is more inline with democrats and globalists.

Where was DeSantis when his legislature - in the face of Trump’s request for states to use paper ballots and no machines - chose to remove all possibility of real audit for voting, and give all to machines?? That was just this month, as they passed SB 1414. FL Senator Ingoglia’s SB1414 has been quietly set aside, but now the equally bad House version, HB1381 is being pushed through.

HB1381- this House Bill would also reclassify many of the reports election integrity advocated NEED to monitor and audit election as protected items. Essentially removing all of what remains for citizens to audit their elections. We are already severely limited to what we can observe. Most of what REALLY happens in our elections is hidden in the boxes of paper ballots we cannot review and the black box software we are told to trust.

And just like SB 1414, HB 1381 will replace the “Post Election Audit” with yet another election vendor who will claim that the digital reproduction they present was the real election, since that will be used to certify the elections.

And much like Georgia and Arizona, we will be in a DIGITAL HELL where we can never prove that digital production was falsified because we will NEVER get to reconcile it against the boxed up paper ballots

From Miami Independent:

Then, there is the insurance issue, where DeSantis backed the insurers against the people; and the contact tracing bill for forceful vax and/or incarceration. The later, passed April , 2021, is still on the books as far as I can learn.

Why DeSantis announced a FL DOGE audit of ONLY Bay County and never mentioned this very suspicious situation in Hillsborough County in his March 18th post to X.

Remember that story about “DeSantis Punishing Disney” for being woke?

When the [Disney’s] district’s special status was dissolved in 2023, the state took over this debt rather than passing it directly to Orange and Osceola counties.

Do you remember voting to take over Disney’s BILLION DOLLAR DEBT and take care of its roads and infrastructure?

DeSantis is a globalist, anti-MAGA trying to disguise himself as a Trump supporter. He is just another example of a career politician who has never worked outside of government and thinks he does not have to worry or answer to the voters except at election time. A democrat parading as a RINO.

Speaking of vaccines, the “medical freedom’ bill passed by Ron’s gang in Tally promised only ‘freedom’ of medical choices until the end of Covid - which was declared ‘over’ eleven days after the FL bill was passed.

Oh, yeah…and wasn’t DeSantis the one who ordered Trump supporters to be removed from public property, at his book-signing in Leesburg? Their crime: wearing Trump gear and carrying Trump signs. Does THAT show “conservative values”?

HB1118, which removes the power of citizens to stand against local development. There are several additional bills in the process of passage by the Florida legislature, other than 1118, which take away citizens’ rights to govern their own communities. All seem to be geared towards development.

HB943 “Requires counties & municipalities to authorize multifamily & mixed-use residential as allowable uses on parcels owned & authorized by specified entities & in PUDs” It has zipped right through the Committees intended to make it into law: Housing/Ag/Tourism; Intergovernmental Affairs; and has now had its first reading in the Commerce Committee.

NB: “Requires”.

No choice. Should this apparently fast-tracked bill pass, Floridians will have lost even more “say”in their own governance. Since DeSantis became Governor, with the help of Trump in 2018 and a lot of undeliverable addresses on the voter rolls in 2022, this is happening more and more. The aura of Marx is growing stronger and stronger.

the most blatantly dictatorial of which is HB247, “Affordable Housing”. The others are mostly “modifications” thereof. The HB247 bill text is below.

“"GENERAL BILL by (has passed these subcommittees) Intergovernmental Affairs Subcommittee ; Housing, Agriculture & Tourism Subcommittee ; sponsor Conerly of Lakewood Ranch, Manatee and Sarasota Counties. “Affordable Housing; REQUIRES, rather than authorizing, local governments to adopt, ordinance to allow accessory dwelling units in certain areas; specifies that accessory dwelling units that provide affordable rental housing shall apply towards satisfying certain component of local government's comprehensive plan; prohibits denial of homestead exemption for certain portions of property on specified basis; requires that rented accessory dwelling unit be assessed separately from homestead property & taxed according to its use; authorizes local government to provide density bonus incentive to landowners who make certain real property donations to assist in provision of affordable housing for military families; requires OPPAGA to evaluate efficacy of using mezzanine finance & potential of tiny homes . . . .”

Remember, Sacramento played fast and loose with their constituents’s zoning also. Just a few months before the January fires, the zoning of the land where the beautiful single family homes stood before they were turned to ash, was changed to include “multi-family”, and signed into law by THEIR Deep State Governor.
