Reexamining the Facts of Jeffrey Epstein’s Case: Could He Have Killed Himself?
Until Epstein’s clients are prosecuted, the rule of law will remain a corpse in America.
FBI Director Kash Patel and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino recently made comments that sent shock waves through MAGA world when they declared that they believed Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide.
Patel and Bongino appeared on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo where they spoke candidly about Epstein’s death and claimed they had reviewed evidence making them believe the official story.
“As someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor who's been in that prison system, who's been in the Metropolitan Detention Center, who's been in segregated housing, you know a suicide when you see one, and that's what that was," Patel told Bartiromo.
"He killed himself... I've seen the whole file. He killed himself," Bongino added.
While I have the highest level of respect for Patel and his work at the FBI, I find his insistence that Epstein committed suicide to be perplexing. There is a bevy of evidence that points to foul play in the Epstein case that cannot be explained away.
Bizarre Injuries to Epstein’s Neck
Autopsy photos of Epstein after his death showed three fractures within his neck, indicating that Epstein was forcibly strangled to death. The broken bones included the hyoid bone, a u-shaped bone at the front of the neck between the voice box and the lower jaw. This is essentially the smoking gun proving that Epstein struggled for his life, resulting in an assassin applying enough pressure to break his bones while committing the murder.
Malfunctioning Security Cameras
Two of the cameras outside of Epstein's jail cell were conveniently malfunctioning at the time of his death. Footage that may have shown an assassin creeping into Epstein’s cell became unusable as a result, preventing key evidence from emerging that would contradict the false story of a suicide. The FBI announced they were reviewing the matter, but nothing ever seemed to come from that investigation.
Guards Fell Asleep Then Covered It Up
Two jail guards who were conspicuously absent from Epstein’s cell at the time of his death were prosecuted after trying to cover up evidence to avoid culpability. Tova Noel and Michael Thomas were allegedly napping and piddling around on the internet while Epstein choked to death.
“The defendants had a duty to ensure the safety and security of federal inmates in their care at the Metropolitan Correctional Center,” U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said. “Instead, they repeatedly failed to conduct mandated checks on inmates, and lied on official forms to hide their dereliction.”
Noel and Thomas emerged as scapegoats for Epstein’s death and were virtually the only people held accountable in any measure in the aftermath.
Epstein Was Taken Off Suicide Watch
Before his death, Epstein had been recently taken off suicide watch. This happened despite a violent incident involving Epstein in the weeks prior. Epstein was found on the floor of his cell with bruises around his neck. It was not confirmed whether he attempted suicide or was involved in a scuffle with another inmate.
In a shocking violation of prison policy, Epstein’s suicide watch status was inexplicably revoked shortly before he turned up dead.
“Unequivocally, he should have been on active suicide watch and therefore under direct and constant supervision,” said Cameron Lindsay, a former prison warden in charge of three federal lockups.
Cellmate Removed Before Death
Epstein's cellmate, former cop Nicholas Tartaglione who had been convicted of murder, was moved from the jail cell in the days prior to Epstein's death. Against standard protocol for high-risk inmates, Tartaglione was not replaced with a new cellmate. This removed any material witness from the situation who could have attested that Epstein was murdered and thus allowed for the conspiracy to be perpetrated.
Pathologist Finds Epstein Was Murdered
After Epstein’s death, his family was suspicious of the official story and brought on their own independent investigator to look into what actually happened. Their expert, forensic pathologist Michael Baden, determined that Epstein's death was a homicide, citing the aforementioned broken bones in his neck and damaged thyroid cartilage.
“Those three fractures are extremely unusual in suicidal hangings and could occur much more commonly in homicidal strangulation,” Baden said during an appearance on “Fox and Friends,” adding, “I’ve not seen in 50 years where that occurred in a suicidal hanging case.”
Baden also noted the presence of hemorrhages in Epstein's eyes that are more likely to occur in a strangulation than a suicide. Baden also said the evidence in Epstein’s cell indicated his bed sheet was too low to the floor to explain his neck trauma, the make-shift noose did not match compression marks on Epstein’s neck, and that Epstein’s body was removed before the medical examiner could arrive and assess the evidence.
His Accomplice Believed Epstein Was Murdered
Epstein’s long-time confidant and child sex trafficking accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, did not believe the official story and thought that Epstein was murdered.
“I believe that he was murdered. I was shocked…Then I wondered how it had happened because as far as I was concerned, he was going to... I was sure he was going to appeal. And I was sure he was covered under the non-prosecution agreement,” Maxwell said during an interview with Talk TV's “Jeremy Kyle Live.”
Epstein Was In Good Spirits Heading Into Trial
Trump impeachment attorney David Schoen said he did not believe that Epstein committed suicide. Schoen was scheduled to meet with Epstein a day before his death but was forced to cancel due to travel concerns. He said during his previous meeting with Epstein, he found the man to be "animated and energized."
"The following week I received repeated messages about his enthusiasm from our meeting and his eagerness to fight his case. I wanted to meet with the lawyers at the MCC where he was so that they could hear his wishes from him rather than from me," Schoen said.
“I was told that on August 9, Mr. Epstein remained animated and gave every indication he was planning to fight the case vigorously as we had discussed. On August 10th he was dead,” Schoen added.
A Suspicious Suicide Of Epstein’s Most Prominent Victim
Nearly six years following Epstein’s death and after it was clear none of his clients being held accountable, the most prominent victim and whistleblower, Victoria Giuffre, died from a reported suicide at the age of 41.
“I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape or form am I suicidal. I have made this known to my therapist and GP – If something happens to me – in the sake of my family do not let this go away and help me to protect them. Too many evil people want to see me quieted,” Giuffre wrote in 2019.
“I couldn’t even believe it. I mean, I started crying right away. I’m still crying. I can’t believe that this is happening. It’s impossible. And then for them to say that she committed suicide, there’s no way that she did. Somebody got to her,” Giuffre’s father, Sky Roberts, said in an interview with Piers Morgan.
Patel and Bongino have earned the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the maneuvering they need to do to clean up the deep state. It is a delicate balance to take on a task so monumental and if they believe the Epstein conspiracy needs to be deemphasized, there is probably a strategic and logical reason to explain their behavior. They deserve additional time and grace to fulfill their titanic mandate.
But for those of us who are not on a tightrope in the administration, we must admit the facts of the case. On the issue of Jeffrey Epstein’s death, there is no doubt as to what happened. Epstein was murdered by the deep state to prevent him from cutting a deal and protecting the clients of his high-profile pedophile ring. Until Epstein’s clients are prosecuted, the rule of law will remain a corpse in America.
There is considerable logic in this article. Because of the longstanding views by many, including the forensics of Dr. Baden, I think Patel and Bongino should have replied point by point to the list of concerns expressed in this article. The fact they didn’t do so at the very least suggests evasion or even deception.
No way. No how. Epstein would have had to have been a Cirque de Soleil performer to have "suicided" himself. I've seen the autopsy. The ONLY conclusion is homicide.
