Why Does MSNBC’s Ari Melber Keep Lying About Me?
Looking at Melber’s most despicable of would-be smears in this latest broadcast reveals a sinister totalitarian mindset...

I admit it. I was genuinely shocked the other day when a friend sent me a link to a clip featuring failed leftist ambulance-chaser Ari Melber. In his uniquely-pompous style of speaking, best described as effete snootiness, the bottom-rated MSNBC propaganda show host droned on about what soon became obvious as yet another one of his many conspiracy theories aimed at throwing shade on President Donald Trump.
To be clear, my shock didn’t come from hearing any of Ari’s typically-wishful leaps in logic or the speculative partisan contortions he tries so desperately to dress up as some sort of legal analysis. This would be about as shocking as hearing breaking news reports that Joe Biden is senile, or that Hunter Biden is fond of cocaine. No, my shock came in seeing that Ari Melber was still on the air, and apparently still has a show.
After spending years worth of fruitless, pointless hour-long weekday broadcasts totally obsessed with his fool’s errand of trying to manufacture even a mere shred of believable bullshit to keep the Russian collusion hoax alive, I had honestly thought his brand of pseudo-intellectual tedium was too boring for even MSNBC, in addition to perpetual concerns about how much longer he could retain his show’s viewer.
Then I realized that if MSNBC is great at one thing besides serving up an endless stream of delusional partisan crazies (Joe Scarborough and his sidekick should alone garner awards in this category), it is at elevating mediocrity to almost an art form. In this category, my friend Ari has them all beat.
All seriousness aside, though, as Ari continued unwinding his latest nothingburger with the deft skill of a minimum-wage burger-flipper at some fast food chain, it wasn’t long before he finally got around to mentioning the source of his most consuming personal obsession: yours truly. It was deja vu all over again, as I flashed back to years ago, when Ari’s Russian collusion conspiracy weaving, featuring routine outbursts of defamation against me, made up 90% of his show content through most of the Trump presidency.
True to form, still obsessed with finding ways to defame me, Ari’s latest dissertation of disinformation attempted to pull me into the insurrection hoax narrative that has been the prevailing wacky leftist fantasy of choice, since their Russian collusion hoax finally collapsed with barely a whimper in the midst of the 2020 election.
Of course, the final grudging release, by court order, of the Mueller Report’s previously-redacted statement that they found “no evidence” of Russian anything concerning the 2016 Trump campaign -- proving by their own words what a malicious lawless folly that embarrassing jobs program for crooked Democrat lawyers really was – ended up buried beneath the tsunami of news coverage of the election day with which it conveniently coincided.
I am sure Ari breathlessly broke into the election coverage to announce that his fellow ambulance-chasers from the Special Counsel scam, formerly led by his newest broadcast colleague at the time, MSNBC’s most prominent on-air criminal and Democrat lawfare specialist Andy Weissmann, admitted that 2 years and 10s of millions of taxpayer dollars had produced what any honest, sane person knew from the start, that the sum total of the Russian collusion hoax is: jack and squat.
But back to Ari’s latest raft of bullshit, once again defaming me with false insinuations, and now even an invented legal status, I can confidently report to you now, with no shock whatsoever, that Ari Melber is as full of shit as he has ever been.
In the broadcast in question, Melber goes on and on building up the gravity of reports that Special Scoundrel Jack Smith has obtained the data from President Trump’s phone used on January 6th. As Melber whips up this development with ominously-presented conjecture, he clearly wants his viewers to come away believing that Trump’s phone data will somehow either conflict with testimony taken by the January 6th Sham Committee or validate the most negative portrayal of Trump’s actions, ultimately leading to the fall of Donald Trump.
[Funny how these depositions are all available on video, given that this ‘historic’ committee, as soon as they knew the GOP would be taking control of the House, conveniently destroyed reams of investigative material they had assembled about the event they wanted all of us to believe was a planet-shattering holocaust-grade apocalypse. Apparently they didn’t destroy what they believed they could cherry-pick at a later time, to prop up their demented January 6th conspiracy theory.]
Ari is nothing if not persistent in trying to will this result (Donald Trump’s demise) into existence, as though his tired resort to crypto-partisan pseudo-legal editorializing, dressed up as objective analysis, will somehow conjure it into reality. Clearly Melber feels no need to learn from his unblemished track record of being proven dead wrong in every one of these exercises in political smear with which he has regularly polluted the airwaves with for years.
Like every Melber monologue, this one is also utterly loaded with prejudgmental inflammatory terms (coup, sedition etc) and superfluous hyper detail, such as minute by minute recounting, which serves to inflate the perceived import of the event he has wasted untold time focused on, down to every moment, trying to make it appear as though he is reconstructing a crime.
At one point he refers to me as a “defendant”. Hey, Ari, 2019 called, it wants your description of me back, because in 2023 it is nothing but a lie!
Looking at Melber’s most despicable of would-be smears in this latest broadcast reveals a sinister totalitarian mindset he surely adopted from his dubious idol and hero, corrupt former “Watergate prosecutor” Nick Akerman (more on this flim-flam artist later). To set it up, Melber rolls a short clip of my appearance before the J6 Witch Hunt, as I respond to a question from the most hated man in the Republican Party, Liz Cheney.
As I did with every question that day, I asserted my right to remain silent, protected by the 5th Amendment to the Constitution. It was of no consequence to me whether the questions were innocuous and I could have answered any of them with absolute confidence that the truth was on my side. I had learned the hard lesson that no matter what you say to a pack of partisan jackals in sworn testimony, your words can (and will) be twisted or cherry-picked to manufacture the appearance of your having made a false statement.
Just to be, a my mentor Richard Nixon used to say "perfectly clear." I had no cell phone or text communication with my friend of 45 years Donald Trump or any member of his staff on January 5th or 6th. Any phone records obtained by Special Counsel Jack Smith will prove this. Nor does my decision to assert my 5th Amendment rights when questioned by the phony January 6th Committee witch hunt prove otherwise. Melber, a lawyer, should know better but then Ari Melber is full of shit.
If the jackals targeting you can premeditate attaining this result, it is only that much easier for them to lead you to what may seem like straightforward responses to innocuous questions, but which they know can be manipulated or interpreted to your detriment. As such, I chose to say the only thing they couldn’t twist against me: NOTHING.
Now, an essential feature of this is a core constitutional right is that its exercise is never to be interpreted or inferred as an indication or passive admission of either criminal culpability or intent. Such treatment would essentially nullify the purpose of such protection as a right. For those warped by partisan animus, however, constitutional rights and protection from abusive authority are of no concern, and this is all too obvious in the distorted Melber-Akerman view of this right.
As such, while Melber blandly notes that my testimonial silence is my right, he proceeds to heavily imply that there is some underlying criminal motive to it. Melber echoes his crooked mentor Nick Akerman, who has repeatedly described invoking the 5th Amendment as “refusing to answer a question because [the witness] believes that a truthful answer will tend to incriminate them.” This is a chilling misinterpretation, especially coming from a lawyer and former prosecutor.
Ari and Nick should consider retaking constitutional law, where they can get up to speed on what it means to not be compelled to be a witness against one’s self, and how this right comprehends the real possibility that innocent people can nonetheless be at risk of mistaken or malicious prosecution for crimes they did not commit but that hyperzealous, ulterior motivated or dishonest lawyers, like our friends Ari and Nick, are more than happy to screw them to the wall with.
What was clear after watching this latest bit of Melber propaganda is that it is just like every previous would-be hit job from this pompous gasbag: it ultimately leads nowhere and serves as nothing more than a manufactured backdrop for Melber’s deceitful insinuations and the defamatory assertions he casually includes with all the speculative partisan blather, but which are no less thoroughly-dishonest or mal-intended.
