There is no evidence that nixon knew about or authorized the Watergate break-in. He was leading in 49 states and won the biggest victory in presidential history with 61 million votes. Why would he want to break into the watergate. John Dean orchestrated the Watergate break-in Because he knew his wife had worked as a call girl for a ring that was servicing Democrat party big shots, and there was proof of it which he wanted to obtain.
