An interesting analysis. Many people in Canada feel that the country has gone down hill significantly in the last 10 years. Carney is a globalist and another threat to sovereignty. Separation for some Provinces make sense.

As an Alberta separatist, I welcome the rise of Saskatchewan’s secessionist movement. Hopefully we can both be free of Ottawa soon.

Can we just make a trade? Give them some of our blue states and we'll take Saskatchewan and Alberta.

I was just thinking along those same lines. Remembering a recent map showing a split California. The Western coastal counties of CA are heavily far Left Liberal. The idea was making an East and West CA since the higher valley counties are heavy agricultural and conservative. Trade the Western CA, Oregon and Washington for Alberta and our NE states for Saskatchewan. Sounds workable...

It’s very nice to see this topic addressed by a knowledgeable American in the political discussion. I was born in the US, and live here now, but lived in Alberta for 17 years. It is as clear as the nose on your face, that separation is the only hope for the people in western Canada. US statehood would be great for these people, particularly if the US continues to be MAGA country, and the people of Alberta and Saskatchewan would largely be supporting a conservative agenda. The Democrat party would resist Statehood for AL and SA because it would tip congressional representation more conservative. AB and SA would not benefit from an Obama/Biden America because it would be like what they’re wanting to flee from. I think it highly unlikely that Saskatchewan would separate without Alberta, but Alberta alone or Alberta + Saskatchewan together could make it a success as an independent entity, or as the 51st state. BC too, would be great, but the rest of Canada, we don’t want, because it is all a welfare state and be a big financial drain on the US. I think it’s only a matter of time before a separation referendum will be successful on the AB and SA ballots, but I think they will (at least initially) opt for independence, rather that to apply for statehood. I pray for them to unite and separate, and to put a US-like constitution in place.

Secession would probably be a good idea. All jurisdictions under the crown globally are going to hell in a handbasket. An alternative would be to do with King Charles what the barons did to King John in 1215 and hold his feet to the fire, honor his Coronation Oath, and start doing his job properly, ie, governing for the benefit of his peoples and protecting them from abuses of power. The rot starts at the top!

First of all, let's thank Roger for not only amalgamating news with worthy perceptions, along with entertainment. BTW, as this was being typed TV told us that Comey has been indicted. Maybe the country will see those involved in the R-Gate coup (also) indicted. Can you imagine Billary., Mueller or the 'Big O' sitting in a birdcage!

As for Roger's recent piece, it's a dynamite of an article. Saskatchewan would be a two-way enriching Street. Adding Saskatchewan would make our country more opulent, in over a million ways. The dynamics of this situation is quite simple; mainly the citizens of that province are sick of politicians endorsing policies that are against the values and traditions of normies.

One example, of several involves the oldest profession within humanity. Becuz of the housing shortage landlords are allowing intimate engagement as a replacement for rent. Check it out. It's hard as it is to believe it is being permitted…

This reminds one of a movement a while back concerning Oregon, or one of those Mid Western states. Part of the state decided to separate and join a neighboring state. The reason: Normies sought to escape Lefty’s insanity.

People want to be amongst those similar to themself. There’s more trust amongst those that are similar. Liberals, Lefty nut cases and anti-majorityites call that fascism, racism, and other BS terms. In reality, it has nothing to do with hating others. It just involves loving one's own kind. People want to be left in peace.

When the Irish followed the English to New England, especially in Boston, there were store signs reading “dogs and Mics not allowed." Eventually there was an amalgamation, lots of marriages and people became buddy buddy. The key to the whole thing was you can't force populations into submitting to political agendas. Things have to be natural.

For example, in the Germanic move to the east (Drang nach Osten-‘Drive to the East’) large numbers of Slavs eventually became absorbed. Linguistics verify millions of Slavonic names Germanized. It’s a two sided coin, in Slavic countries there are millions of Germanic names that have been Slavonicized.

At one time Slavs were untermenschen (below men). Today one sees millions of marraiages have occurred. That's especially noticed in Germany's Ruhr region. Why? Cuz the proletariat married local gals.

As a kid I commenced language school that was conducted in the French language. Yet, as a little boy I learned that those in Quebec “didn’t speak proper French.” When visiting France it was discovered that Frenchmen didn’t speak correctly as did those in Quebec. Yet, decades later -into adulthood one saw many of Third World heritage deeming they were French. At the same time, a significant number of Quebecians didn’t deside to be part of Canada.

Borders change, as do people. Let’s hope that what’s best for us and best for Saskatchewanians wins.

As for humanity, it’ll be a miracle if we don’t eliminate ourselves. We’ve gone from sticks, stones and biting to nuclear weapons.

So Canada is plagued with the same urban/rural divide as the US. Urban implies dependency while rural requires independence - self reliance. One can think which is better for a human soul and ability to prosper mentally.

Should any CA province become independent they would be welcome to statehood. Not that would make liberals happy.

Don’t know the ultimate outcome but the threat and publicity of the discontent would illuminate the disconnect between the west Canada and the socialist federal Canadian government.
