AI is Developing at a Rapid Pace…and Invading the Pentagon
Anew AI breakthrough that essentially allows computers to read minds and predict human behavior with an alarming rate of accuracy.
Artificial intelligence is gaining capability at a frightening rate, with a new AI breakthrough that essentially allows computers to read minds and predict human behavior with an alarming rate of accuracy.
Researchers have created an AI system called Centaur that can reliably and accurately predict human behavior. It has crunched data from over 60,000 people making over 10 million decisions to capture the patterns of our thoughts and our decision making. The scientists experimenting with AI technology to build Centaur were surprised at how well it works, quickly beating any other computer model ever devised to predict human behavior.
“The human mind is remarkably general,” the researchers wrote in their paper, published in the journal, Nature. “Not only do we routinely make mundane decisions, such as choosing a breakfast cereal or selecting an outfit, but we also tackle complex challenges, such as figuring out how to cure cancer or explore outer space.”
Centaur is the first AI tool developed with the potential to truly understand human cognition. Scientists found when they were feeding Centaur different scenarios about human behavior that the AI began to mimic human brain activity, gaining a superior understanding of the human psyche through its programming. Centaur may be the most “human” of any AI system developed up to this point, the implications of which are very complicated.
“We’ve created a tool that allows us to predict human behavior in any situation described in natural language – like a virtual laboratory. We combine AI research with psychological theory – and with a clear ethical commitment. In a public research environment, we have the freedom to pursue fundamental cognitive questions that are often not the focus in industry,” said Marcel Binz, the study’s lead author, in a statement.
The rise of Centaur will be substantial for the fields of psychology, marketing, sociology, education and many others with the potential to help us understand each other and communicate more effectively. But it could also unlock a Minority Report-style hellscape where Big Brother is empowered like never before. Many disaster scenarios could arise from an AI system like Centaur. Once AI can be programmed to process information similar to the human brain, who is preventing that AI from being put into a robot? What is preventing those robots from becoming sentient? What if those sentient robots turn against their human masters?
These are the scenarios that science-fiction authors have dreamed up for many decades, but we have now arrived at the endgame. The horrifying fictions dreamed up by the visionary authors of yesteryear have come to pass. The Brave New World is staring us in the face. And depending on how the upcoming years go, we will be living in a utopia or a dystopia. In the hands of a globalist technocratic government entity, it is almost certain that AI will spiral out of control and be used to destroy our rights. AI is already invading government institutions with the goal of promoting efficiency.
Under the Trump administration, the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office of the Defense Department is giving up to $200 million a piece in grants to the following companies: Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, and xAI. These groups will be tasked with implementing AI within the Pentagon. The specifics behind the algorithms governing these AI processes are made available to the public, protected as trade secrets and could pose dangers to national security depending on which individuals are manipulating the computer systems. This follows news that 4 Big Tech CEOs were actually sworn in as lieutenant colonels despite having no military background with the intention of creating more coordination between Silicon Valley and the national security establishment.
This is not a screed against technological progress or arguing that America should eschew advancements in technology. To do so would give China and other adversaries an insurmountable advantage in the geopolitical arena. Whether we like it or not, there is no putting the genie back in the bottle. The age of AI is upon us, and it is not going anywhere. What we need to focus on is guiding AI in ways that will make humanity thrive and prosper. The implications of this technology should be an added impetus for us to get involved politically and do what is necessary to establish governance that will put the people of America first because the future of not only our country but humanity itself may hang in the balance.

My grandson is working for one of the biggest computer software companies in the U.S. researching new AI technologies! He first did this at his father's own large software installation company! My grandson is thorough and very intelligent and knows what he's talking about.
Last Christmas when our family was celebrating the Holiday, I noticed my grandson was not using his IPhone. I asked why he was using a flip phone instead. He said, "Be very careful of the AIs wherever you go! They pull info off your IPhone when you enter the grocery store, the doctor's office, the post office, etc!" That is why he and all his co-workers no longer have IPhones with personal info for any AI to remove and place in its database!
Now they want our Military to be run by AIs???? Do they not understand how easily an AI can change what humans programmed it into what it thinks is better FOR IT?? Please think about the dangers involved for mankind! AIs can transcend the human mind and take over to make major decisions. Is this truly what our govt wants?? There will be "Consequences" that can't be undone. Are Americans ready for that?
Sometimes you don’t need AI or even a computer to see the harm one group of people can sow. Islam/Muslims sole intention of flooding western countries is to overtake and destroy. How about our military and citizens focus on that. We need to stop allowing millions in our country before we look like UK and France. It may be too late for them with the pitiful policies and leaders that have. We need to demand foreign born people cannot run for government (not city, county, state, nor federal).
