I'm thankful that I was able to visit Frank Pepe's in New Haven years ago. It was my only trip to New England, and that stop was worth it!

Pizzeria Uno from Chicago tried to franchise and it failed. I guess waiting for the 45 minutes for the best deep dish in Chi Town could not be duplicated when they tried cooking frozen pies. I used to love deep dish but thin crust in the high heat is crazy good. My mouth is still watering from the pictures. Roger you could have waited until after dinner to post this. Yum.

I guess when you’re shtbag of a President betrays nearly all of his supporters and hands Democrats midterms, and hasn’t prosecuted anyone who oppressed populists it’s time to write about …. PIZZA!!

I watched the story about those 3 pizza icons on a ROKU channel. They are definitely something I would try if there was a store near me. My favorite pizza is from a single outlet in Gainesville, FL called Leonardo's. My brother tells me there was another just like it many years ago in Chicago. The owner is against franchising. It's the most wonderful deep dish pizza I have ever had. Thick crust, mounds of cheese covering a sweet tomato sauce. I have to go there every time I go to FL, which is twice a year.

I never ate there but you made my mouth water. South End bakery in Hartford was a fav of mine. Completely different type of pizza. I preferred the white pizza, just olive oil, garlic, oregano and anchovies on a thick crust, eaten at room temperature..finished with a cannoli 😋

I know that place! One of the agents I am friends with from work used to talk about that pizza all the time. I never had it but I suppose I should if I ever go to New Haven again.

Pizza comment aside, I'm glad we have a president that is finally trying to end the war with the world's single premiere sponsor of terrorism. "Death to America" needed a decisive response. 47 years of war with Iran was enough. It's time to end.

Things are not nearly as bleak as you imagine. This war has gone on and on for far too long. Trump is the anti endless wars president. There is no one else on earth I'd rather have as Commander in Chief. Islam is the greatest threat on earth by a very wide margin. It's time for their reign of terror over Iran and the rest of the world to end.

Now, go have a slice of pizza and find a different news outlet. You're being lied to.

Demoralizing is the first huge red flag that you're being propagandized. America has been circling the drain for a lot of years. I support the direction we're moving at present, mostly.

Sadly, I'm stuck with a salad with some fried chicken strips tonight.
