the Deep State (or whatever you choose to call them) have their dirty fingers in every pot around the globe...the corruption is vast and the effort to remove them is almost beyond comprehension...every single one should be arrested, prosecuted and hanged or put to death in some way, why waste more taxpayers' money to keep these people fed and watered...

The downside of the death penalty is that they re-incarnate and try again. A bad thing. Maybe paying to keep them incarcerated is a good investment for society?

I've often wondered how our nation is flooded with drugs so easily.

During the Reagan years, you had some Scarface wannabes, but Now there seems to No interdiction During the previous administration anyway President Trump has put the smackdown on them! Thank you for the article. It was extremely educational And a lot of things make sense now!

Unclear what we gained from our interference. Seems we lost a lot under Biden.

Carlos Pineda would have won that election if it had been fair, but the TSE had him disqualified a month before the election. That would have been the best thing to happen to Guatemala in a long time. I don't know who María Consuelo Porras wanted to win, but she does not want anything good for Guatemala. The quotes above do not reflect her actions.

Another great post, Roger.

I've commented on your last post how to fight and win the drug war. Now I tell you that the CIA is the largest, most well-financed, and well-trained terrorist organization in the world. They do absolutely nothing to protect the real Americans, instead they are a tool of the globalist bankers headquartered at the Bank of International Settlements, just as Ronald Bernard of the Netherlands talked about in #1 and #2 of his 5 interviews on a Dutch podcast that got 16 million views for just the first podcast.

CIA is passe. We (NSA) are the real power since the late '60s in the intelligence and analyst game, until Barack Obama (the black Hitler) ruined the NSA by forcing them and other fed agencies to hire thousands of unqualified blacks, rather than merit-based hiring. CIA's heyday was the '50s and the '60s, but only because of James Angleton, the most diabolically clever intelligence agent I am aware of. Brilliant (and depraved) plan in the (attempted) assassination of JFK, but Henry Crown (who instigated the plot to kill JFK) didn't know what Angleton's plan was and ordered Oswald assassinated (by fellow Chicago Jewish mafia Jack Ruby). Why not Chicago? Because someone spotted a would-be shooter and the motorcade was cancelled.

Americans believe Oswald did it or was an unwitting patsy. Spies (like me) know Oswald was playing a patsy so he could fake an escape when in federal custody and flee to Cuba. The Bay of Pigs failed because of terrible intel from the almost useless Allen Dulles--who JFK fired--in part because assassinating Castro wasn't going to change anything with the rebels in control of Cuba. When the Cuban Missile Crisis almost gutted America's dominance (Castro flipped and claimed he no longer wanted the Soviet Union in Cuba because Khrushchev tried to turn Castro into a puppet and so the Naval blockade worked), it was decided Cuba must have a US-friendly government.

Strangely, this strategy for Cuba for is the basis for all the CIA-meddling in Central America, even though the Soviet Untion is gone and Putin is clearly in way over his head just trying to regain power in the countries around the Black Sea.

Isn't the CIA the biggest player in the narcotics industry? Isn't that how they fund most of their black ops and avoid Congressional oversight?! They're totally out of control and have been since their inception in 1947.

Patrick---You touch on things about the CIA that I've heard only rumors of... I do concur with your train of thought here. I would like to quote you in my blog if you don't mind.. Obama/Biden agenda was purely to expand communist influence and destroy any/all Western societies in every place possible. Thus the arming of ISIS, murders of Kadhafi, Ambasador Stevens [a cover, Stevens knew about guns to ISIS] and this action in Central/South America as well. Barry is on video proclaiming his goal of "transforming America"-- Joe was his puppet, and likely wasn't even aware of who was pulling strings.

How dumb do you have to be to buy this line from an American when everyone knows the FRB interest bill comes up September 30th and the US are desperate for some Oil wealth otherwise they default?

You've been going after Venezuela for years and not because of drugs or even the people but for the Oil. Most amusing point in your tawdry history is when you actually tried to put in an unelected Freemason and call it democracy.

Strictly speaking, there is no need for the US ever to default under the current monetary system. The FRB can print an infinite quantity of dollars to pay an infinite quantity of debt. The risk therefore not default but currency collapse/hyper-inflation. Looking at yields on US Treasury debt at the moment, the international markets seem to view collapse of the dollar as increasingly likely - and possibly soon.

That money gets it value from somewhere and while the US dollar is not strictly tied to the gold anymore, thanks to the perception of Nixon decoupling during the Vietnam war but history shows the US actually left the gold standard 2 years after Britain in 1933, the federal reserve currency is backed by Oil.

Debt bonds are the US lifeblood and if China stops buying those.....

China is not actively buying new U.S. Treasury bonds; its central bank has suspended purchases in the secondary market as part of a strategy to diversify its foreign exchange reserves.

While China remains the second-largest holder of U.S. Treasuries, behind Japan, its holdings have declined significantly, falling to approximately $759 billion by December 2024.

Exactly. If China stop then considering the US runs off two things which is endless war and Corporate manufacturing in China who else is going to buy US debt bonds for a country spending 20X more on military than its economy?

This is why the Corporations are always pandering to China. Not because they want to but because they have to while at the same time getting the puppets in US Government to keep stirring that pot to eventually take China to war.

See unlike the West when their Bank crashed because of the corruption in Synthetic CDOs and manipulated Mortgage ratings which they basically turned into a gambling industry China did not bail them out.

We did and we didn't even have a choice! And look at the state of the West now as we gave the banks the green light to continue their fraud knowing we'll just pay for them every time.

The action to take in a just world would've been to let the banks fail, remove the crooks who believe they are too big to fail and replace. After all the only reason the West is constantly at war and has been now for 80 years is because we're the ones paying for it and not the Banks as they basically have a legal counterfeiting operation.

Problem is the more you have of something in circulation the less valuable it becomes which is why after 112 years since the Federal Reserve Act took the money out of control of governments the value of the Dollar is now around 4 cents.

They keep printing it will soon be worth absolutely nothing and that's when countries stop taking it as payment for good and services. Yes the media keep up the pretense and the confidence but fewer and fewer people believe the media.
