We need to make donor financing of federal elections unlawful. All election campaigns should be financed from public funds as they already are in some countries (eg, Germany, Sweden, Israel, Canada, Australia, Austria, and Spain) and in many US states. Donors have corrupted politics, destroyed accountability, undermined whatever democracy we might once have had and made a lot of public "servants" very rich. "The price of liberty is eternal vigilance." Shame on us all for having been lulled to sleep.

What a joke our tax payer dollars are. We invest in state of the art war machines that are traded away under table to every friend and foe. What is ii really for other than thier wheeling and dealing. Sickening. A big game, they all think they are 007 or something, at our expense. They are useless selfish blowhards, Boys with toys ruining American family’s and our fair elections over thier greed and ego.

By the looks of it both cingressmen are (R) rated. The (R) for the congressmen doesn't give the company a pass to be playing footsy with our adversaries.

Will those countries remain our adversaries, who knows. But a DOD contractor has a responsibility to not allow data and information to be accessed by ITAR banned countries.

Fines and cancellations of contracts are always possible. Exceptions are always connivingly created by money and influence.

Politicians are first and always corrupted and not trustworthy.

All of them!!!!!!

Great reporting, Roger.

Still wondering about Thomas Crooke. The official story, or lack thereof, doesn't jive. The photo of him walking around the grounds about 1 hour before the attempt is revealing in that I don't see how that depicts someone about to fire a gun. Maybe he was checking out details of his plan, or maybe something happened after that photo to escalate..
