If only NYC had the same vision. Instead, they doubled down and elected a communist Islamist as mayor. You couldn’t dream up a worse combination of ideologies, because there isn’t any

I know, right? I lived there for 50 years. I left two years ago but all this stuff began under the Sandinista of New York, Bill DeBlasio.

Stone is right because he understands politics as it is, not as elites wish it were. Chile didn’t “lurch right”—it course-corrected. Voters faced crime, disorder, and economic anxiety and chose accountability over ideology. That pattern is repeating everywhere, from Latin America to Europe to the U.S. Media class blind spots keep producing shock on election night because they ignore what regular people live with daily. Kast’s win wasn’t about labels or personalities; it was about survival and sovereignty. Stone called it because he listens to voters instead of pollsters. Democracy still works when citizens are offered a real choice—and Chile proved it.
