I certainly would not cut Fauci any slack. His arrogance killed a lot of people., but neither would I forgive the 48 states that shut down out of fear over a bug. Lives, businesses, liberty, and reason were destroyed. Hindsight is always 20-20 but if one was to check CDC statistics, the mortality rate for Covid in my state was the the same as the annual flu. A mask or social distancing will not stop a virus, and fear will only stop freedom if we let it.

He became intoxicated by deference, protected by media courtiers, and wrapped in the false priesthood of “the science.” Real science invites challenge. Fauci demanded obedience. Fauci's bogus recommendations were taken serious by my employer. On Oct 1, 2020, I was terminated after 19 and 1/2 years for politely saying no thank you to the mask . No severance, blocked unemployment and my family health insurance ended in the blink of an eye.
However, I stopped trusting employers 20 years prior and had created my own company. I spent 20 years working nights and weekends to create a buffer between my family and my employer. Just when I was found to be expendable, my own company was making about double what I was being paid at my job. Ha Ha! I got the last laugh. Going on 6 years now and loving every bit of it.
