If the target had been a high level Democrat, we would know everything, including things that weren't even true. We'd know everything that was on his phone. We'd know everywhere he's been for several days or weeks leading up to the shooting. We'd know what he had for breakfast.

Did Crooks act alone in every meaningful sense: alone in planning, funding, logistics, encouragement, radicalization, surveillance, target selection, and timing? Helen Comperatore deserves answers, not condescension. The public deserves more than “incompetence” stamped over a black box.
Who knew what, when did they know it, and why did the protective detail not receive the threat picture? Were digital records, communications, financial trails, travel history, platform activity, and contacts fully examined? If Crooks was a lone actor, prove it with records. If he had help, expose it.
