It's absolutely worth it to risk further inflaming already heightened political tensions. Trump/we aren't out to appease or play patty cake with anyone. There is a job to do and these guys are the ones to do it, and I'd say for any senators or anyone who might not like it, that comes under the heading of, "Tough Shit".
