I too supported Marco for Senator and am pleased at how much he has achieved in such a short period of time. Trump chose wisely. Excellent article as usual Roger. Have a blessed day 🙏

Marco has definitely show his patience, and he's one of the best leaders this country has ever seen! Much respect, and yes, a President he will be someday soon!

Nice article and comprehensive. I hope Trump is listening. If this problem is not resolved quickly, the next Griselda will emerge.

The DEA and other "law enforcment" mechanisms were bought out long ago. In the early '80s, the standard pricing was $1 million for one case for a Florida judge, where the judge would decide a key piece of evidence was illegally obtained so that the case was dropped. The governor(s) in FL could be bought for $50K, police for 20K, local officials for $15 - 25K. The FL banks were prospering in part by laundering drug money. FL economy was about 15% dependent on the drug trade and the multiplier effect.

The two major money laundering areas in the early '90s were the Cayman Islands and Hong Kong, both owned by the (corrupt) British.

No one in power wanted to stop the drug trade--too much payola. Drug busts were to remind the dealers and distributors that the officials must get their cut.

I am the tech expert at the NSA who showed the drug war was the next Vietnam--an unwinnable war--and obviously I am correct.

However, drones are the way to win, a technology that we didn't have.

Roger, until Marco addresses the communism in Cuba then his work in our hemisphere is only half done. It’s time to let personal feelings that his parents have about Cuba away. There are somewhere between nine and 11 million people living there that are suffering greatly. If we are going to be humanitarians, then we need to address what is happening in our hemisphere in the Caribbean. Enough is enough with their torture due to personal reasons from Miami Cubans. Who’s really in charge here? Please address this with President Trump, the best deal maker in the entire world!

President Trump has already addressed the Cuban communist regime. President Trump doesn’t miss a thing! https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2025/01/cuba_back_on_the_list.html

Great article Roger !! I have been impressed by Rubio's performance recently too.

HOWEVER.... I do not trust him at a fundamental level. His enthusiastic Gang of 8 involvement shows a commitment to ideals and ideas that are fundamentally against the Constitution and Bill of Rights and fly in the face of the very principles upon which our Republic was founded.

As if the cartels are forcing Americans to take drugs. Drug consumption is a personal decision and its root cause has nothing to do with availability (Google rat park). Stopping the flow by reducing consumption is the only effective solution.

Sinking a few ships is pointless.

It not about the drugs it's about the human trafficking. We should just let women and children be kidnapped by cartels because there is a market for it?

This only became a major problem when the border was essentially opened by the Biden administration. Closing the border has already resolved that problem as fewer and fewer migrants transit through Mexico.

The boats that were sunk have nothing to do with human trafficking as well.

I'm not very keen on Rubio as he is a war hawk too. Have we learned nothing from the failed Bay of Pigs Invasion and the Iranian Revolution? These are the results of decades-long interventionist foreign policies. They keep doing to other countries when they should not be doing that if they don't want that happening to them.

Al-Qaeda was the result of the mujahideen being given weapons by the US to fight off Soviets in Afghanistan and using the same weapons against them. Same thing applies to the Second Iraqi War.

Ah I think I understand now why Rubio is glued to Trumpty Dumpty (at Buckingham Palace no less) he is Trumpty Dumpty’s appointed babysitter.

Who is babysitting you and letting you have access to the computer? Where else should a Secretary of State be when his President is on a foreign trip? It's obvious that you are a hater. Please, call the babysitter so she can give you your nap and pablum and take the computer away.
