Wow! Just another weird leftist inspired creepy program to create more criminality. Psychs also facilitate this by giving them mind altering drugs, which have violence as a side effect. See Citizens commision for Human Rights for the true info on how psychs are leftist deviant criminals. But thank you for working on getting this known so Conservatives can put a stop to this insanity.

This article describes Pittsburgh, PA, to a "T". It's been a one-party, Democratic town since 1933. We hope to at least make a dent in that this coming election.

Those who are innocent and will sue officials for civil rights violations are severely abused, with the blessing of the judges, prosecutors, law enforcement, prison senior officials and staff. The trial officials want a plea bargain or time served, and there are numerous cases (often reported by Innocence Projects) where a person proven innocent after incarceration is left in--with the judge's consent--until time served is accepted. Otherwise, the person will receive millions of dollars from a civil rights jury.

About 10% in a typical prison are innocent, maybe more, and less than 50% actually should be denied liberty. State and federal governments fund prisons on a per capita basis, so it behooves the prisons to remain at full capacity to max out funding and then cut corners on expenditures, particularly on food to those housed. All prisons do this in every state and every federal facility.

Mostly, the prisons cater to those who clearly are guilty.

Roger, you would have been in prison and probably beaten until you lied and said Trump was guilty. That was the plan until he pardoned you. More than a hundred thousand people don't have your connections, but are just as innocent and only thrown in prison to force faked confessions or accept time served.

Accountability is the missing element. Both inmates and administrators. There are crimes fir which the only suitable punishment is life in prison or swift execution. Even if ‘rehabilitated’ those offenders should never be free.
