There is no doubt that Bidenomics was a major contributor to our current situation. However, this is a problem that dates back to at least 1913 and the Jekyll Island fiasco. Then there was Nixon taking us off the gold standard and blaming it on foreign mischief.

As a child in the early 60's, my dad could work a job and feed a family of 5. By the late 80's, I was married and was being told you can't raise a family on 1 income anymore. Between 1989 and 2020 I spend a total of 26 years working 2 jobs so that my wife could be home and raise kids without the abomination called "daycare". The kids are grown now and doing quite well. My wife and I never thought we would be as comfortable financially as we are today.

Democrats and Republicans have been draining the middle class for decades. Republicans do it slowly while the Democrats act like sharks in a feeding frenzy. This is not R vs D. This is the American people vs the Washington establishment. When will we ever drain them?

Congrats on prioritizing your kids!

Their entire premise is to destroy Freedom and individualism.

The communists implanted in our own country have sought to overthrow what we love, they seek to undermine uSA’ll.

To destroy the beacon on the hill and extinguish the light we are to the world.

The party in control isnt the dema or repubs nor the uniparty, they are all just puppets. It’s all about money and control…they care not about you nor your children.

We The People are responsible for this and must discontinue support of the corruption within Our 3 stage system of government.

We must take back our counties, en mass, 1 person at a time.

Not with tax protest or overthrow. No we do so with a demand that those sworn to uphold the Constitution and protect this land of freedom do so or be removed.

This demand must coincide with an end to taxation of personal property. All governments get enough revenue from commercial taxation and tariffs!

We must have accountability for the fraud and corruption in our midst. Remove the foreign owned voting machines and the reveal those who sold their souls to allow them in to be used in the first place. And with this an end to the manipulation of our “S”elections. I call for small 1000 voter precincts, paper ballots, counted that night.

These are just the first steps we must take to regain control of our country and the world.

Pretty Brilliant, Mr Stone. Thank you for all you do.

But I want to make what I think is a correction.

You say, "[People think] inflation is a mysterious phenomenon rather than the predictable consequence of monetary recklessness." I'd argue it is not "recklessness" but rather intention.

Well said Mr. Stone. Thank you. How nice it would be if our treasonous, bi-cameral, Congressional UniParty actually represented the Main Street people of America instead of their overlord handlers. Congress enabled the White House Potato's Auto-pen signers every step of the ruinous way. Thank you for your thoughts.

I also blame the promotion of a kind of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" on HGTV and similar channels. Suddenly everyone wanted a huge mansion with stainless steel high end appliances, a swimming pool and jacuzzi, and a hot tub, and expensive vehicles. People began to acquire massive debt when they couldn't afford their mortgages and upkeep and other related expenses. People began living beyond their means in some kind of fantasy lifestyle which ended in bankruptcy, poor credit ratings, etc., even divorce. Even PBS got on the band wagon, cancelling The Victory Garden, which due to them was on its last legs, leaving This Old House which was part of this lifestyles kick. When This Old House started, and I was going to uni in Boston at that time, it was to renovate the crappy old buildings which had no insulation and were freezing cold in the winter and hot in the summer for middle class people, teachers, nurses, etc. BTW, contrary to how they are portrayed in movies and TV, most blacks live in their homes and have good jobs and live in nice neighbourhoods, they aren't all living in the projects and ghettoes being drug dealers and pimps.

Roger, if you’re such a good friend of Trump, tell him we’re sick of this shit. He’s not doing what we voted for. Stop giving money to Israel &others and help Americans instead.

Great article. We are becoming gutless and uninspired. Endless giveaways, subsidies to big corporations as well as to millions of illegals, dilution of Medicare, millions of extra dollars to upgrade failing education which keeps failing more and more, people buying online instead of shopping, poor eating habits, children not active outdoors but instead on electronic devices, declining belief in God, overeating from boredom, manipulation of the buying, eating, and voting habits of the population, fewer people reading articles or books, couples shacking up instead of building a family focused future….the list goes on and on…..

Stone is right to call this what it is: engineered impoverishment. Inflation isn’t just bad economics—it’s a slow-motion mugging of working Americans by a ruling class insulated from consequences. When families can’t plan, save, or breathe without anxiety, dependency replaces independence, and citizenship erodes into compliance. I’ve covered corruption for years, and this follows the same logic: pain is dismissed as collateral, accountability is nonexistent, and the architects never suffer the fallout. A nation that can bankroll foreign adventures but can’t protect grocery budgets has lost its moral compass. Middle-class collapse isn’t incidental—it’s baked into the model.

For some reason, no blame for Trump and trillions and wars.

How about Venezuela and Iran to begin with. When you send a flotilla to the Carribean or a bunch of bombers to Iran, it is not cheap. Neither of these actions made the US even 1% safer as neither country posed any security threat to the US whatsoever.

Biden certainly did a lot of damage; of that there is no doubt.

But we’re a year into Trump’s second term and things don’t seem to be changing. They certainly aren’t changing enough.

We need to see energy prices fall like crazy and start manufacturing things in this country again.

What has Trump done to reign in spending? The deficit continues to increase and now the dollar is becoming worthless. Even the Mexican peso increased nearly 20% against the US dollar in the past year. How the hell is that helping America? The middle class is being screwed by both parties and their is no respite in sight.

Roger Stone has an insightful piece here about inflation and the impact that it has on the American public - mainly the middle class. Inflation first showed its ugly head during the mid to late sixties when LBJ’s “guns and butter” program began to flood the economy with dollars. His buddies made millions while America was being set up for the inflation that occurred later in the seventies. The Biden flood of dollars did the same thing. Now, we need to have a government that spends within its means (probably need to lower the revenue a bit) and a Fed that understands how to manage the money supply.

EDMOND GAUDELLI's avatar

Great insight, Sir!

Yes, it's engineered; but to try to blame it on Biden and/or the Democrats is so transparently ridiculous it's comical. The mechanism has its roots in ancient Babylon. It arrived in America with The Federal Reserve in 1913 via London, Amsterdam, Venice, Rome, Judea and Babylon - a process which has taken millennia. It's an ancient, pernicious control mechanism.
