I too am unhappy with the pace of these investigations but Bondi is fighting entrenched activists, many in positions of supervision within the various federal agencies, actively working to subvert and slow walk Trump’s agenda. These internal problems, coupled with with activist judges make her job near impossible. She needs more time. Not unlimited but more.

I remember that Trey Gowdy also was leading the investigations into the Internal Revenue Service, with an emphasis on the antics of the Cincinnati tax-exempt office led by the diabolical Lois Lerner. In her last appearance before his committee, Lerner famously stood up after being asked a question by Gowdy and walked out of the room without answering. Gowdy couldn't even get the bailiff to stop and arrest her! (I use the title, "bailiff" as a joke, because I don't know what the person to stop people from leaving the witness chair is called in a Congressional committee. Security guard, maybe?)
