Thank you!! I have been writing the same for years, since his first election where Trump saved him. DeGov forgets about all that and has become wed to the Marxists of the Globalist community. His RPOF has been working overtime to disenfranchise citizens so they can’t get in the way of developers, whom imho, are most generous for all this.
On other issues, he also allowed cities to install school bus stop arm cameras to catch petty "violations" of the no passing law (most violations don't result in an accident). He vetoed the widely popular keep right except to pass bill and expanded "move over laws" to cars at the side of the road. There has been no additional road capacity to handle the already insane traffic levels. This, plus a historically crap job market, high insurance, an economy built on quicksand makes Florida a pretty insufferable place. The last time it was nice was about 30 years ago.
Great Governor my ass. He's a mutant weirdo and a grifter. Prison will be good for both for him and his pushy obnoxious shrew of a wife. I will do whatever is necessary to end his political career once and all for all.
I have been calling him out on many dishonest things since long before he broke his promise to his constituents and took $80 million of his gubernatorial campaign money to dump the state to try to grab the brass ring. Sorry you haven’t got to know him yet.
Article is right on point. DeSantis does all the cultural initiatives with great publicity but what he is doing in the background is more inline with democrats and globalists.
Where was DeSantis when his legislature - in the face of Trump’s request for states to use paper ballots and no machines - chose to remove all possibility of real audit for voting, and give all to machines?? That was just this month, as they passed SB 1414. FL Senator Ingoglia’s SB1414 has been quietly set aside, but now the equally bad House version, HB1381 is being pushed through.
HB1381- this House Bill would also reclassify many of the reports election integrity advocated NEED to monitor and audit election as protected items. Essentially removing all of what remains for citizens to audit their elections. We are already severely limited to what we can observe. Most of what REALLY happens in our elections is hidden in the boxes of paper ballots we cannot review and the black box software we are told to trust.
And just like SB 1414, HB 1381 will replace the “Post Election Audit” with yet another election vendor who will claim that the digital reproduction they present was the real election, since that will be used to certify the elections.
And much like Georgia and Arizona, we will be in a DIGITAL HELL where we can never prove that digital production was falsified because we will NEVER get to reconcile it against the boxed up paper ballots
From Miami Independent:
Then, there is the insurance issue, where DeSantis backed the insurers against the people; and the contact tracing bill for forceful vax and/or incarceration. The later, passed April , 2021, is still on the books as far as I can learn.
Why DeSantis announced a FL DOGE audit of ONLY Bay County and never mentioned this very suspicious situation in Hillsborough County in his March 18th post to X.
Remember that story about “DeSantis Punishing Disney” for being woke?
When the [Disney’s] district’s special status was dissolved in 2023, the state took over this debt rather than passing it directly to Orange and Osceola counties.
Do you remember voting to take over Disney’s BILLION DOLLAR DEBT and take care of its roads and infrastructure?
DeSantis is a globalist, anti-MAGA trying to disguise himself as a Trump supporter. He is just another example of a career politician who has never worked outside of government and thinks he does not have to worry or answer to the voters except at election time. A democrat parading as a RINO.
Speaking of vaccines, the “medical freedom’ bill passed by Ron’s gang in Tally promised only ‘freedom’ of medical choices until the end of Covid - which was declared ‘over’ eleven days after the FL bill was passed.
Oh, yeah…and wasn’t DeSantis the one who ordered Trump supporters to be removed from public property, at his book-signing in Leesburg? Their crime: wearing Trump gear and carrying Trump signs. Does THAT show “conservative values”?
HB1118, which removes the power of citizens to stand against local development. There are several additional bills in the process of passage by the Florida legislature, other than 1118, which take away citizens’ rights to govern their own communities. All seem to be geared towards development.
HB943 “Requires counties & municipalities to authorize multifamily & mixed-use residential as allowable uses on parcels owned & authorized by specified entities & in PUDs” It has zipped right through the Committees intended to make it into law: Housing/Ag/Tourism; Intergovernmental Affairs; and has now had its first reading in the Commerce Committee.
NB: “Requires”.
No choice. Should this apparently fast-tracked bill pass, Floridians will have lost even more “say”in their own governance. Since DeSantis became Governor, with the help of Trump in 2018 and a lot of undeliverable addresses on the voter rolls in 2022, this is happening more and more. The aura of Marx is growing stronger and stronger.
the most blatantly dictatorial of which is HB247, “Affordable Housing”. The others are mostly “modifications” thereof. The HB247 bill text is below.
“"GENERAL BILL by (has passed these subcommittees) Intergovernmental Affairs Subcommittee ; Housing, Agriculture & Tourism Subcommittee ; sponsor Conerly of Lakewood Ranch, Manatee and Sarasota Counties. “Affordable Housing; REQUIRES, rather than authorizing, local governments to adopt, ordinance to allow accessory dwelling units in certain areas; specifies that accessory dwelling units that provide affordable rental housing shall apply towards satisfying certain component of local government's comprehensive plan; prohibits denial of homestead exemption for certain portions of property on specified basis; requires that rented accessory dwelling unit be assessed separately from homestead property & taxed according to its use; authorizes local government to provide density bonus incentive to landowners who make certain real property donations to assist in provision of affordable housing for military families; requires OPPAGA to evaluate efficacy of using mezzanine finance & potential of tiny homes . . . .”
Remember, Sacramento played fast and loose with their constituents’s zoning also. Just a few months before the January fires, the zoning of the land where the beautiful single family homes stood before they were turned to ash, was changed to include “multi-family”, and signed into law by THEIR Deep State Governor.
Funny to read this at this time, actually I have a meeting with Miami’s Inspector General concerning a 501c3 that lied on my medical record that I had two Covic vaccine shots, which I did not, I also found extremely rude comments concerning contained in my medical file after he found out that I voted for trump essentially calling me a toothless hillbilly, this is something that does not belong in a medical file, he also ordered unnecessary blood tests and even when I was adamant not being one who is sexually active he harped on me that I should be just in case, it turns out big pharma has programs that pays community health centers to experiment there drugs on not at risk individuals. This is only the beginning of what I learned besides just because you are a charity it does not mean you have good intentions. If anyone is interested please send me a direct message
Floida government officials in Tallahassee are known for persistent criminal misconduct for decades.
Florida BAR--to include the judges--enforce a Star Chamber, even though that was outlawed in England since the 1640s. Pinellas County sheriffs are feared by the citizens and idolized by the drug cartels.
Federal courts in FL are almost as corrupt as the state judges.
Since the early '80s, the enormous cash flows from the drug trade prop up the FL economy.
In the early '80s, the prices were as follows:
Judges: $1 million bribe in off-shore accounts, to declare 1 piece of critical evidence to be illegally obtained.
Governors: $50,000 to control law enforcement, if necessary.
Lawyers: $20,000 and up.
Police: $10,000 a month
Sheriffs: $10,000 a month
DEA agents; $30,000 for minor obstruction, $100,000 or more for obstructing major drug bust.
Don't know the prices anymore. I wasn't involved, but one didn't have to be involved back then to know what was happening.
The car of choice for drug dealers in FL in early '80s? Mercedes 450SL coup.
Could outrun any police car, and luxurious.
Around '81, near Gainesville, I arrived at bar frequented by college students, like me.
Outside in the parking lot was three or four 450SL coups. I went inside to avoid raising suspicion, could spot probable drug dealers right away. I had a drink, socialized a bit, then left. All to appear as though I had no idea who the owners of the cars might be.
He’s been terrific , but blew it on his extreme, terribly unfair abortion ban. Six weeks is such a ridiculous imposition. There are so many women who are unaware of a pregnancy at that stage. Irregular menstrual cycles, light cycles.. and it doesn’t always result from carelessness. I was 10 weeks, never missed a pill, hadn’t gained an ounce, no morning sickness.. I found out during a routine yearly exam. I had just turned 22. Fortunately, I was married and had my mother and grandmother to lean on. Others aren’t so fortunate.
When he was asked why he made such a decision( on a Friday in the middle of the night), that it was so unpopular and Floridians were furious- they weren’t even given the opportunity to be heard.. DeSantis flippantly replied,” Because it aligns with my beliefs”. Apparently, he doesn’t realize America isn’t a theocracy. Yet.
Florida had a 24 week parameter when he took office. We’ve had Republican Kirk,Martinez, Bush,Crist, Rick Scott…None of them messed with it. I don’t know anybody who went beyond 18 weeks unless a doctor found something untenable.
First DeSantis cut it to 15 weeks without putting it before the people. There was kicking and screaming, but they let it go because he was exceptional on most every other issue. He had a large Dem voting base. It was done, people moved on and he had a Super PAC drafting him for 2024. And out of the clear blue, boom, he signs the Heartbeat Bill, initially without exceptions for rape and incest. This time, it wasn’t only the Dems and a small group of Republicans who were outraged, it was 85% of Floridians, including devout, Pro-Life Catholics. He dug his heels in deeper. Refused to allow a ballot initiative, stating that it would codify abortion on demand all the way to delivery. It wasn’t true. The Super PAC dumped him. It was started by Ed Rollins and had the heavy hitters- Langone, Marcus, Steve Schwartzman,Cleveland Clinic,Baptist Medical, the School Boards, every major retailer.. his Covid policies were a blessing. He ever had, of all people, Bill Maher backing him. And in one fell swoop, he was DOA.
‘Great’ can be discussed, but he was better than the other 49. That should count for something. He screws up royally from time to time, but so does warp speed. We have to look at the whole.
He is a corrupt politician that stole money from a whistleblower case and helped cover it up. He should be in prison for torturing whistleblower. https://youtu.be/WZC7vF_g6fo

I expect Gov. DeSantis to directly address all the allegations in this article. I need that before passing judgement.
He shouldn't have to. He's busy being a great governor! Where were the whiners when DeSantis arrograntly tried to run against Trump?
Great Governor my ass. He's a mutant weirdo and a grifter. Prison will be good for both for him and his pushy obnoxious shrew of a wife. I will do whatever is necessary to end his political career once and all for all.

He has had 6 years to explain.

you've got a good picture. There are still a few wombats who are fooled by his 'dog and phoney shows".
Nobody's perfect!

Yes
The best!
There are enough RINO's in this country to start their own party. Oh, that's right, nobody would vote for them.😡
